Holiday Cards with Kids

We used acrylic paints which I put out in small amounts at a time. You can top off with glitter or add to w/other materials (colored pencils, markers, crayons, oil pastels) after the paint has dried.

I love making Christmas cards – I’m making my own this very afternoon. Ella has many happy years making them ahead of her with this beautiful start.
i love the notion of a child making beauty for the holidays and the magic of sending it forth. slipping it into an envelope, addressing, sticking on just the right stamp. the imagining its journey as it sails from your mail box into the mailboxes of friends and faraway family all over the land. i also LOVE your beautiful art plate, that white with blue swirls. you are such a fine teacher, and such a beautiful mother. xoxoxox
